In 1998 this painting was selected to be in the exhibition for de Koninklijke subsidie voor de schilderkunst in Paleis op de Dam, Amsterdam (NL). The art-editor of 'de Volkskrant' Lucette ter Borg wrote some beautiful words on this painting in her news article: 'Camps transforms, with a reference to to the french romantic painter Théodore Géricault who died at a young age, a prosaic garment like a pantsuit into a melancholic, butterfly like creature. The body that was in this pantsuit seems to have slipped out of the garment, or the other way round, the garment slipped off the body.'
